Why Altra?
When preparing for Dragon's Back I knew that my feet were going to be one of the most important aspects of the race, so I really needed to make sure I went with someone who had shoes that could cover all of the different types of terrain in Wales, withstand the distance and keep my feet in as best shape as possible. On top of that I wanted to go with someone who would back me with the challenges I was wanting to do and set out for myself, there is a lot of uncertainty around long races, particularly something of Dragon's Back length but I felt that I had the backing and supprot of the team to try and make my crazy dream a reality. Getting the chance to be heavily involved with the She Runs Free initiative being the team coach has been an amazing opportunity and I'm so proud to be backed by a brand that supports these iniatives and is trying to make a difference in areas that matter to me personally whilst also giving me the opportunity to be involved
