Aubin discovered running in 2016. Since then Today, he has relocated from his native France to Switzerland to allow him to practise daily. Aubin strives always to be better than yesterday. In being closer to the mountains, the place he loves the most, he can commit fully. In Switzerland, he can now easily transition from a day job in train maintenance to training in the mountains. It's a privilege not taken for granted.
Aubin aims high and is direct about achieving his goals. Like many of his peers, UTMB is the pinnacle and his primary focus. But it doesn't end there. He knows what he wants to accomplish, he wants to be the best. In identifying his greatest challenge, his head, and his greatest strength, his legs, he has the knowledge to overcome anything on his path to success. Why does he run? "to eat a lot". Don't let the humour mislead you. Aubin is driven to win.
Away from the trail Aubin is a lover of Cinema. He’ll also spend time relaxing watching cycling and various other sports.
